Illinois Congresswoman Cheri Bustos will host a Veterans’ Benefits Workshop on Friday, May 23, 2014, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The location is the Plumbers and Pipefitters Hall Local 25, 4600 46th Avenue, Rock Island, IL.
Stated Representative Bustos, “Protecting the benefits our veterans have earned is one of my top priorities as your representative in Congress. But navigating the claims process can sometimes be difficult and confusing. That’s why I’d like to invite you to attend a Veterans’ Benefits Workshop….”
At the event, local veterans will have the opportunity to get answers to their questions and receive assistance with individual benefit claims cases from VA representatives. Local veterans’ organizations will also be in attendance, to talk with local veterans and their family members about the many important resources they offer.
