February will feature artist Mary Katos, who will host jewelry making classes via Zoom. Wrap bracelets are quite the rage. The first class teaches basic techniques to make your own single-wrap design. You will use leather cord, buttons, bead stringing cord, and either stone or Czech glass beads. No special tools are needed. If you have ever picked up a needle and thread, you already have the basic skills to fly right through this project. It will take about an hour. Both adults and teens would enjoy this class.
The first Zoom class is Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. “You must sign up by Saturday, February 13, for the event, so that we can get the kit to you. Every kit is unique; if you have a color preference, please let us know.” Visit or call the gallery at 815-772-4005 or call 815-718-3682, to reserve a class.
