St. Peter Lutheran Church, 601 N. Jackson Street, Morrison, IL, will host a blood drive from 3:15 to 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. This drive is open to the public. All donors who give at this drive will receive a “St. Patrick’s Day” themed t-shirt as a Thank You for giving blood.

Morrison High School Key Club will host a blood drive from 8:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on Wednesday, March 1. This drive is open to the public, and will be held at the High School Auditorium, 643 Genesee Avenue, Morrison. The drive is part of the MVRBC Lifesavings program, and helps the Morrison Key Club earn a monetary grant.

Blood donation is a safe, simple procedure that takes about 45 minutes-to-one-hour. Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure may be accepted as eligible donors.
Locally, MVRBC is the exclusive provider of blood products to patients at Morrison Community Hospital, as well as hospitals in Geneseo, IL, Clinton, IA, and the Quad Cities.
