The “Let’s Feed Our Children” free summer lunch program is a United Way of Whiteside County sponsored program for children in Sterling, Rock Falls, Morrison, Tampico, Fulton, and Prophetstown, IL.
Free sack lunches will be served five days each week, beginning Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at the Crave Building, 201 W. Market Street, Morrison, IL, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
A sack lunch is provided each child, containing a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, 100% juice, fresh fruit, and dessert. No questions are asked.
Morrison United Methodist Church members will make lunches every Monday and Friday. Other Morrison volunteers will prepare lunches Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
