Morrison Postmaster Bill Borum reports street deliveries in the month of December 2016 by employees of the Morrison Post Office. This includes all of Erie, Prophetstown, Lyndon, Fenton, and Morrison, IL. Brought to area homes and businesses were
- 1476 feet of letters–almost five football fields in length
- 285 feet of magazines–almost an entire football field
- 30,965 parcels.
Anna Eggemeyer, age 7 of Morrison, won a $25 gift card for the annual Post Office coloring contest. Her Christmas page was selected by the employees from over 20 entries. Making the presentation was Delivery Supervisor Melissa Holdgrafter.
