Several area Chambers of Commerce will host the U. S. Chamber of Commerce for a legislative update on Thursday, April 13, 2017. Participate in an interactive dialogue over tasty food. Topics will include health care (Affordable Care Act repeal/repair/replace/etc.); tax reform; infrastructure; regulatory rollback and reform. Directors from Dixon, Fulton, Morrison, Rock Falls, and Sauk Valley Area Chambers of Commerce have planned this event for all area Chamber members.
Speaker is Ben Taylor, Executive Director of the U. S. Chamber of Commerce, Great Lakes Region Office of Congressional and Public Affairs. He will share updates on what is–and is not–happening in Washington, D.C. Taylor brings a unique perspective on President Donald Trump’s first days in office, offering a status check and “report card” on President Trump and the 115th Congress.
The April 13 Lunch and Learn event will be held at Candelight Inn, 2200 First Avenue, Rock Falls, IL, at noon. The cost is $12 for Chamber members and $15 for non-members.
