Two Concerts at Spring Valley Reformed Church

There will be two celebrations this weekend at Spring Valley Reformed Church, 10960 Spring Valley Road, Fulton, IL, and both include music and the message of the Gospels.  For more information, visit the church website at https://sites.google.com/site/springvalleyreformedchurch/ or call Randy Venema at 815-499-8843.  Both concerts will be held outdoors.  Enjoy them from the comfort of your car or bring a lawn chair.  Free will offerings will be taken at each concert.

On Saturday, September 12, 2015, Spring Valley Reformed Church will have their Sunday School/Community Celebration.  We welcome anyone to come and enjoy a fun-filled day, before we start our Sunday School season.  We kick things off from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. serving hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, cookies, bars, cupcakes, lemonade, ice tea, and water.

We also will have

  • a cakewalk for all ages
  • a human tractor pull
  • an inflatable obstacle course
  • sidewalk chalk
  • face painting
  • kick ball
  • best of all, a dunk tank.  Come and dunk Pastor Ralph Beidler!

To close the evening, we are so blessed to have The Bontrager Family in concert; it starts at 4:00 p.m.  Marlin and Rebecca and their ten children live on a farm in the Midwest and milk cows, garden, and harvest crops.  When not farming, they travel and share the love of Jesus through their singing and playing.  They sing many Gospel songs, such as hymns, praise songs, Southern Gospel, and more. The Bontragers play piano, acoustic bass guitar, mandolin, and harmonica.

Please join us.  It will be a wonderful day full of God’s love.

On Sunday September 13, at 6:30 p.m. we are excited to have Larry DeLawder at Spring Valley Church.  He has a wonderful talent of playing harmonica.  In addition, he does a great impersonation as “Barney Fife” from the “Andy Griffith Show.”  DeLawder interacts with the audience, has a great time, and will get you laughing.  He and his wife, Sara, have two children and travel as a solo ministry.  Their heart is in full-time ministry.  They can use their God-given talents to touch hearts, win souls, and minister in whatever way God will use them.
