Whiteside County TRIAD shred event is today, Thursday, October 14, 2021, in Erie, IL, at the corner of Main Street and 9th Avenue, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  The location is Erie Police Department, 740 Main Street, in the alleyway.

Participants will drive up, and TRIAD members will remove the items from the vehicle, so there will be no personal contact.  If you have any questions, please contact Whiteside County TRIAD at whitesidetriad@gmail.com or 708-320-1290.

Unfortunately, TRIAD cancelled the document shred event set for Wednesday, October 13, due to uncontrolled circumstances with the vendor.  TRIAD personnel apologize for the inconvenience and truly hope many people have the opportunity to take advantage of this free shred event at the Erie location.

Kristopher Schmidt, Chair of Whiteside County TRIAD stated, “Last year was a great success, and we loved sharing this opportunity with everyone.  All of us at Whiteside County TRIAD have worked so hard, to bring this opportunity to the public for a second year….We know how valuable shredding documents safely and securely is to everyone, especially our Seniors.”

This event was facilitated by Whiteside County TRIAD in conjunction with gracious grant, sponsorship by the Illinois Senior Medicare Patrol (https://www2.illinois.gov/aging/ship/Pages/SMP.aspx), where their motto is “Empowering Seniors to Prevent Healthcare Fraud.” Protect. Detect. Report.

In closing, Whiteside County TRIAD humbly accepts monetary donations through their account at Sauk Valley Bank.  If you would like more information, to volunteer or attend meetings, please contact any member of TRIAD at whitesidetriad@gmail.com or through Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/whitesidecountytriad/.
