Main Street, Morrison, IL, on the morning of Friday, September 16, 2016.  Windsor Manor Assisted Living Community Administrative Assistant Dusty Knaggs, at right, was in charge of a bake sale.  Resident Rolland Van Zuiden assisted.

Recipient of the fundraiser proceeds was the Dixon, IL, Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

“Windsor Manor Warriors” have supported this cause for three years and will participate in the walk.  They consist of staff and residents of the care facility, located at 403 Scenic Street, Morrison.

A donation goal of $500 has already been surpassed.

This initiative began because of a first-year resident of the Alzheimer’s unit at Windsor Manor.  Her family participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
