The banner tells the tale. Tractor Supply Co. Manager Mike Everly reported on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, “We are on a path for a [Saturday,] November 30, opening,” on Small Business Saturday. “The store will open at 6:00 a.m. Our Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting will be Saturday, January 4, 2025.”
The location is 15700 E. Lincoln Road, Morrison, IL.
Everly hired 18 people who were unpacking merchandise and placing it on countless shelves. “They will stay as employees. We get three-to-four deliveries a day. At 21,702 square feet, we are bigger than the Dixon[, IL,] store,” where he was Assistant Manager. “This is a prototype for Tractor Supply. This is a fancy store!”
Entry is at the bottom, center of the architectural plan; shown are two registers. There is one Self Checkout Lane just to the left. The outdoor Garden center is at right.
One popular feature will be the Pet Washing Station, an enclosed room with two bays. The fee is $9.99; supplies, nail trimmers, towels, and dryers are furnished. If customers join the “TSC Neighbor’s Club” rewards plan, their fourth wash is free.
