One of the highlights of summer for our residents at Resthave Home, 408 Maple Avenue, Morrison, IL, has always been the tractor parade, which takes place the day before the start of the Whiteside County Fair.
On Monday, August 15, 2015, 88 drivers of various makes of tractors passed along our circle driveway. Some will be on display during the fair.
As you walked around and listened to the residents and visiting families watching the tractors go by, you could hear them reminiscing about their time spent on the farm and which tractors they remember.
The favorite this year seemed to be the “putt putt” tractors!
A huge “thank you” to those who were part of the tractor parade. You made our residents day!
