The Odell Public Library Friends will host Jim and Ann Camp for a travel program, “Amazing Voyage: Argentina to Antarctica,” on Thursday, April 27, 2017, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Program Room. The library is located at 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL.
The Camps will share their wonderful, and occasionally unsettling, experiences visiting the southern-most reaches of the Earth.
Their trip
- began in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where they enjoyed a tango show and historical sites
- continued south for a tour of the tip of Argentina
- followed with a ship voyage to Antarctica, through some of the most dangerous waters in the world
- culminated in a captivating tour of areas of the vast continent of the South Pole.
