The Morrison Mustangs traveled to Annawan, IL, to challenge a non-Conference foe in the Annawan-Wethersfield Titans on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. The Titans opened the scoring by mustering four runs in the third inning off Mustang starter Danny Mouw. The Mustang offense retaliated with three runs in the fourth inning and one in the fifth, to tie the game. The Titan offense scored two runs in the sixth inning off Mustang reliever Kaleb Schroeder. The Mustangs failed to cover the advantage in the top of the seventh inning and took home a loss 6-4.
