The Loft 112 Gala Fundraiser takes place Saturday evening, October 20, 2018. This night of fun, entertainment, good food, and art will be held at the Morrison Institute of Technology Auditorium, 701 Portland Avenue (IL Route 78), Morrison, IL, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Ticket sales begin on Saturday, September 1, and may be purchased at Loft 112, located at 112 E. Main Street, Morrison. The gallery is open Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets may also be bought at Fitzgerald Pharmacy, 124 E. Main Street, which is open daily. Ticket prices are $25 for single admission and $40 per couple.
The evening will feature the music of The Connection, formerly the Ukulele Connection. Armed with ukuleles, guitars, and a harmonica tuba, The Connection’s wide variety of music is a crowd-pleaser. Plus, the vocal harmonies of the three musicians, Paul Engwall, Aaron Johnson, and Jim Roeder, are smooth. Engwall is standing; seated left-to-right are Johnson and Roeder.
A cash bar from the Brick Block Pub of Morrison, a multitude of tasty appetizers, and yummy desserts will add to the evening festivities.
To top off the evening, there will be an unveiling of a Guest Artist and his creation of a commissioned piece of art for the Gala.
All monies raised will ensure the future of Loft 112, its artists, and artworks.
Save the date, Saturday, October 20, invite a friend or loved one, and purchase your tickets soon.
