Thomson, IL, is celebrating 150 years, and our school spirit lives on! Thomson 2015 Alumni Prom will feature the popular local band, “Coupe DeVille” at a prom on Saturday, May 23, 2015, from 8:30 p.m. until midnight. The prom is free and open to the public.
“Return with Coupe DeVille–“The Cadillac of Rock & Rock”–to a time of bobby sox, fuzzy dice, and DA’s. Put on your poodle skirt and saddle shoes, grab a cherry coke, and get ready to party your way through a musical experience that has withstood the test of time. This group was formed over 25 years ago and has established itself as one of the finest entertainment sources, having entertained literally thousands of fans throughout the Midwest.”
The former Thomson K-12 School Building gymnasium, 801 South Street, Thomson, will be decorated in a retro theme. Attendees are encouraged to dress in the style of the era when they graduated.
Gather your classmates for a group remembrance. Photographer Bill Delp will be on hand to take commemorative pictures.
The Alumni Association extends a warm invitation to all–even these teens from the 1970’s!.
