Marc Adami reported, “Due to the recent COVID-19 surge, we are going to postpone our January in-person event, at the City of Morrison Community Room, with Jacob Campbell. Hopefully we can reschedule him sometime this year in April or May 2022.
“We are still planning a virtual event on Zoom for Thursday, January 27. We will host retired State Biologist, flora and fauna expert, and local resident Randy Nyboer, who will talk to us about Audubon’s International Christmas Bird Count. If you have any interest in birds, the environment, or conservation, this is your chance to hear what is going on locally and to ask questions. The Audubon Society has hosted bird counts and collected data for over 120 years! Find more information at their website www.audubon.org.
“Our February book discussion will likely be a hybrid event that can be attended in-person or on-line. We will keep you posted.
We are hoping to host Victor Selmon again, whenever he is available. He will talk to us about his experience as a Scuba Diver and Commercial Diver. Stay tuned for more information to follow.”
