The Whiteside Forum presents “How Economic Inequality Harms Societies” on Thursday, January 28, 2016, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Program Room of Odell Public Library, 307 S. Madison Street, Morrison, IL.
Our own Dean Stone, retired Clinton Community College and Ashford University Social Studies Professor, is the guest presenter. Stone will show a series of TED Talks and lead us in discussion on the topic.
TED is a private, nonprofit devoted to spreading short, powerful “Ideas Worth Sharing,” usually in 18 minutes or less. The acronym is derived from Technology, Entertainment, and Design. This global set of conferences covers almost all topics in over 100 languages.

The Whiteside Forum, established in 1985, is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit community group, which sponsors presentations and discussions of issues of importance and interest to the public.
