Despite a heavy rain that temporarily darkened the sky, The Loft on Main was aglow with conviviality on Friday night, July 14, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. This amiable occasion was to honor the artists who contribute their creative endeavors for sale at the gallery and the patrons who contribute through their volunteerism and purchases.
Four food stations were available with a plethora of delectable savories and a sweet fruit tray donated by Sullivan’s Foods. This encouraged 50+ guests to “forage” and talk to a variety of others. About three weeks ago, Marcia Haag, Everett Pannier, and Joan Vander Bleek had met to plan what canapes and hors d’oeurves they would create. Lucky folks who stayed to clean up were treated to tasty “leftovers.”
