The Loft on Main, 112 E. Main Street, Morrison, IL, welcomes the public to Third Thursday on June 15, 2023. This morning get together will be a special “treat,” because professional baker Shelli Eng will contribute strawberry scones, cinnamon rolls, and chocolate chip cookies. Many know her as “The Bread Lady,” from her sales in Erie, IL, and past Morrison Farmer’s Markets.
As soon as necessary plumbing work is completed, Eng will open her newest business–a coffee shop–as “Donneybrook Corner.” A restaurant will follow in the future. Eng has been baking inside the building for weeks, selling to commercial coffee shops, while awaiting plumbing tradesmen.
As always, The Loft on Main will open its doors two hours early for this Third Thursday of the month, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Enjoy pleasant conversation among visitors and home baked delights and beverages. There is never a charge.
