The American Legion Post 328 member Jerry Brearton states, “It is not too early to start planning to assist in planting 1000+ American Flags, on the veterans’ graves at Grove Hill Cemetery[, Morrison, IL.]”
On Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 7:45 a.m., volunteers will assemble at the west end of the cemetery, near the large, Cemetery Shop. Six groups will form, each with a Clipboard Caller and process across the ground planting flags into flag holders.
With enough volunteers the whole project can be accomplished in less than two hours.
