Terry W. Dickerson, 71 of Rock Falls, IL, died Thursday August 5, 2021, at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, IL.
He was born on September 6, 1949, in Sterling, IL, the son of John N. and Mary Jean (Kuykendall) Dickerson. He attended local schools and was employed at the former Parish Alford Plant of Northwestern Steel and Wire Co. Terry had served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his daughter, Chandra (Joe) Paschal of Morrison, IL; grandsons, Jacob, Joshua, and Caleb; mother, Mary Jean Dickerson; brother, Len Dickerson of Fruitland Park, FL; sister, Connie (Jeff) Pursell of Rock Falls; niece, Lacy Renner; nephew, Ron Hughes, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his father and infant brother, Johnny Maurice Dickerson.
A Gathering of friends and family will take place on Monday, August 9, 2021, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory in Rock Falls, IL.
The Service will follow at 11:00 a.m., with the Reverend Brian Tribley officiating.
