Tanya Ann Boles (Callihan), 39, of Regency Care of Sterling in Sterling, IL, died Sunday, July 21 2019, at Regency Care of Sterling.
Tanya was born August 15, 1979, in Morrison, IL, to Lyle S. and Terri L. (McClain) Boles. She was educated in the Morrison grade schools and was a 1997 graduate of Morrison High School. She attended Clinton Community College. In 1999 she married Opie “Richard” Callihan in Morrison. Tanya had worked at many of the local factories. She lived her life to the fullest and loved singing and dancing. She enjoyed babysitting whenever she could.
Survivors include daughters, Jenessa Callihan of Morrison and Jackie Callihan of Camanche, IA; sons, Jesse Callihan of Camanche and Jacob Callihan of Morrison; parents, Lyle and Terri Boles of Morrison; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Dorothy Boles of Morrison; sisters, Lynn (Billy) Mills of Sterling and Sherri (Matt Burson) Boles of Morrison; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Virginia and Owen “Jim” McClain; paternal grandfather, Irvin “Farmer” Boles; uncles, James “Jim” McClain and Robert “Bob” Boles.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 26, 2019, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, officiated by Ken Renkes.
A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2019, at the funeral home.
Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
