Tabetha S. Voeltz, 31, of Morrison, IL, died Tuesday, November 3, 2015, near Erie, IL, as a result of an automobile accident.
Tabetha was born December 9, 1983, in Iowa City, IA, to Andrew and Tiara (Hays) Voeltz. She was a 2002 graduate of Unity Christian High School in Fulton, IL. Tabetha graduated from Hamilton Technical College in Davenport, IA, with her medical assisting degree, and in 2012, she graduated from Blackhawk College in Moline, IL, with her Registered Nurse Degree. Tabetha was employed at Genesis Health Center-Silvis Campus as an Emergency Room Nurse. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include Darrien Voeltz, Reese Voeltz, and Mason Voeltz all at home; her parents, Andrew and Tiara Voeltz of Fenton, IL; one sister, Ashley Voeltz of Clinton, IA; one brother, Adam (fiancée, Sarah Wirth) Voeltz of Erie, IL; two nephews, Keegan Magnus and Luca Voeltz; her paternal grandparents, Lois (Walter) Parr of Davenport and Gordon Voeltz of Muscatine, IA; her step-grandmother, Mrs. Barb Hays of Galesburg, IL; many aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Donald Hays; paternal step-grandmother, Jeanie Voeltz; two cousins, Jonathan and Jeffrey Miller.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Bethesda Lutheran Church, Morrison, IL
OFFICIATING: Rev. Bob Burton, Pastor of Bethesda Lutheran Church, Morrison, IL
VISITATION: 9:00 a.m., Saturday, November 7, 2015, until the time of the service, at Bethesda Lutheran Church, Morrison, IL
GRAVESIDE COMMITTAL SERVICE: 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Erie Cemetery, Erie, IL
The Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made toward Tabetha’s Children’s Education.
