Jamie Mosher and Kate Fisk organized a t-shirt sale after the Prophetstown, IL, Main Street fire on Monday, July 15, 2013. All proceeds will be given to the victims directly or added to the relief fund established at Farmers National Bank. Shirts were distributed on Sunday, August 4, at the Prophetstown-Lyndon-Tampico Unit District #3 office.
Children and adults can display their support of Prophetstown, IL, with the purchase of a t-shirt. The graphic depicts the pre-fire Main Street skyline. Sign up ends Friday, July 26, 2013.
Choose between orange or white as a background, with orange and black team colors for the lettering.
The front slogan reads, “Support Prophetstown–Small Town, Big Heart.”
The poignant back says, “Thank You Prophetstown Fire Dept & EMT’s, Prophetstown Police Dept, Whiteside County Sheriff assisted by brave firefighters from….” Below is a list of 31 units that responded with men, vehicles, and water during the fire on Monday, July 15, 2013.
The text continues, “and countless un-named friends, neighbors, Businesses and good citizens of Prophetstown.”
