The Morrison High School Student Council will send packages to different U. S. troops. They would greatly appreciate for community members to contribute to this cause and donate. Student Council is accepting either monetary donations, to help with shipping costs, or products from the list below:
- beef jerk
- non-chocolate candy
- decks of cards
- batteries
- books
- crossword puzzles
- sudoku booklets
- cotton swabs
- toothbrushes
- Girl Scout cookies
- Kool-Aid/Crystal Light/tea mixes.
The Student Council will collect items from Monday, March 5, to Wednesday, March 15, 2018. March Madness is Friday, March 9, at Morrison High School, 643 Genesee Avenue, Morrison, IL. The admission charge to the event will be $1, to pay for shipping of the care packages. Donated items can be dropped off that night.
