The annual Morrison Schools Foundation Strides For Students event will be held through the campgrounds of Morrison-Rockwood State Park, Morrison, IL, on Saturday, June 24, 2017. Note the new date this year. All proceeds go to the Morrison Schools Foundation. This is a very laid back race and a lot of fun to run or walk. The course is about 50% shaded, mostly flat, and very scenic.
- There will be awards for overall male and female and for 1st-3rd male and female in each age group.
- There is a special award for top male and female Morrison High School alumni.
- Tech T-shirts are guaranteed for all preregistered participants.
- There are refreshments for all participants.
- Walkers are encouraged to participate.
- Electronic chip timing will be provided by The End Result.
This year’s event features a 1/4 mile “Mustache Dash” for kids ages ten and under, starting at 8:00 a.m. The 5K follows at 8:05.
