Teh Bureau Valley Storm surprised the Morrison Fillies when they hosted them on Thursday, April 25, 2013 and sent the Fillies home with their first conference loss and only the third loss for the season.
Hits were close as the Fillies struck for six singles, but three of the Storm’s seven hits were extra base hits against Allie Wiersema.
BV jumped out with two runs in the second, but Morrison crossed the plate twice in the fifth to tie the game only to have Bureau Valley add two more in the bottom of the fifth and held on for the win.

The Fillies will return home on Monday, April 30 to play a doubleheader agains rival Fulton.
