Following recent direction from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), the Whiteside County Health Department (WCHD) will no longer offer Rapid Antigen Testing to the community. The State asked Local Health Departments to prioritize and preserve current testing resources for schools, while they explore options to provide resources/ assistance to school and community testing.
This pause also includes the “Know Before You Go” testing which WCHD had been offering on Fridays.
At this time, WCHD will continue working directly with schools on testing. They will work to provide updates, should relevant information become available. Until then, community members in need of testing should visit the following resources.
