Morrison Junior High School, 300 Academic Drive, Morrison, IL, with be transformed into a comprehensive art gallery over the weekend, with original works by students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Prepare to be amazed by the talented young people in the School District. Note the wide-ranging skills being taught and developed.
The free event is sponsored by Children’s Art Preservation Association (CAPA) and Morrison Community Unit School District #6.
On Saturday, May 6, 2017, the exhibit runs from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Adding ambience will be musical performances by students in grades three through five.
On Sunday, May 7, the exhibit runs from noon to 4:00 p.m.
Some pieces will be framed and available for purchase.
