Two performances will be given of the musical “‘Specially for Shepherds” the weekend of Saturday, December 19, and Sunday, December 20, 2015. The public is welcome to share in this very special musical event.
- Lanark[, IL,] Church of the Brethren will host the musical Saturday, December 19 at 6:30 p.m.
- York Community Congregational Church in Thomson, IL, hosts the performance at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 20.
Local performers include Maurice and Mary Rogers, Joyce Shubert, Patty Laughlin, and Marguerite Clark. The performances feature Mia Gimenez, lately of the San Francisco Opera and currently associated with the University of Iowa.
