Ten Morrison-area residents will host a Spaghetti Dinner on Sunday, March 2, 2014, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 100 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, IL, to raise funds for their mission trip to Mexico.
At the end of June, the crew will return to help villagers in Leona Vicario, in the Yucatan Peninsula, build the area’s first local high school. The mission workers are from First Presbyterian and Morrison United Methodist Churches.
Each will pay travel expenses and the construction supplies they will use. Free-will donations are appreciated.
