Hicks Arrested on Four Outstanding Warrants
Whiteside County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Kelly J. Hicks, 28, of Tampico, IL on four outstanding warrants on December 17, 2008 at approximately 5 p.m. Deputies received information that Hicks was at a residence in Lyndon, IL. Deputies went to the residence and located Hick’s. He was taken into custody without incident. Hicks was taken to the Whiteside County Law Enforcement Center in Morrison where he is being held under $50,000.00 bond.

One-Vehicle Crash
Whiteside County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated a single vehicle crash on December 18, 2008 at approximately 7:45 a.m. The crash occurred on Lyndon Road at Hazel Road. A vehicle driven by Jessica A. Waddell, 31, of Morrison was traveling southbound on Lyndon Road. She topped a hillcrest to find a vehicle slowed down in front of her to make a right turn onto Hazel Road. Waddell applied her brakes and then lost control of her van on the icy pavement. The vehicle went out of control and slid into a ditch backwards, striking a power pole and breaking it off. Waddell’s seven-year-old daughter was transported to Morrison Hospital by private vehicle with minor injuries. No citations were issued.
