The Definition of a Benefactor-- Curt J. Gronner D.D.S. |
|
Eight months after his death, on March 13, 2008, Dr. Curt Gronner continues his lifelong devotion to our community through his beneficence to the Morrison Historical Society. November weather conditions prevented Dr. Bruce Gronner from carrying out his father's donation wishes. However, Gronner will present a monetary benefit to the Historical Society Board of Trustees at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, during a program at Morrison’s Heritage Museum to recognize his father’s beneficence. All Historical Society members and former Trustees, as well as the general public, are cordially invited to receive Dr. Gronner’s last benefit to his birthplace. Curt Gronner was a founding member of the Morrison Historical Society and an office holder. His beneficent efforts created today’s museum, which showcases Morrison’s heritage, and an endowment fund that ensures its future. The beneficiaries of this beneficence include the residents of Morrison and the surrounding communities who visit Morrison’s Heritage Museum. Separate gifts will be presented to the Boy Scouts and First Presbyterian Church. Dr. Curt J. Gronner continues as a benefactor, and the beneficiaries include the entire community. Please join the Board of Trustees at 1:00 p.m. on the new date, Saturday, December 27, to honor his final benefit to us. by Stephanie A. Vavra, theCity1.com |
