JOHN M. KARRAS, 51, of 607 S. Portland Avenue, Morrison, IL died Saturday, November 15, 2008 at his home.

John was born on July 28, 1957 in Mendota, IL to George M. and Gladys M. (Harvey) Karras. He was educated in the Morrison Grade Schools and was a graduate of Morrison High School in Morrison, IL. He also attended technical college. John was employed as a laborer for te International Labors Union, Local 727 in Dixon, IL.

Survivors include one son, Michael Karras of Morrison, IL; his mother, Gladys M. Karras of Morrison, IL; two sisters, Sarah A. Karras of Morrison, IL and Marcia (Roger) Norris of Gainesboro, TN; one brother, George (Karen) Karras Jr. of Chicago, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Karras Sr.

VISITATION: 4:00 – 6:00 PM Tuesday – November 18, 2008 at the Morrison Chapel – Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

PRIVATE INTERMENT: Grove Hill Cemetery – Morrison, IL
