Leaf Fire Spreads to Garage and Neighbors Yard

Be especially careful burning leaves this season.

Morrison Fire Department was called to a garage fire on Portland Avenue. It started as a small leaf and cardboard fire. The fire spread to surrounding leaves and continued across the yard to a garage. It also traveled through a chain link fence into a neighbor’s yard.

Damage included the garage, a trampoline and a pull behind camping trailer.
