MUSEUM TO RING IN THE HOLIDAY SEASON |
|
A flickering fire, cookies and cider, and holiday carols played on melodic bells will ensure a pleasant stop during the upcoming Christmas Walk. The Hallelujah Ringers from the First United Methodist Church, Clinton, Iowa, will be performing traditional Christmas music during the Christmas Walk at Morrison’s Heritage Museum on December 4 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The museum is located at 202 East Lincolnway with parking behind the building. There is a ramp at the back entrance to assist those with special needs. The Hallelujah Ringers are a hand-held bell ensemble of twelve ladies, ranging in age from 40 to 80, currently under the direction of Mathew Hovey. They also perform in other churches, nursing homes, and Christmas festivals throughout the area. One and all are invited to join the Morrison Historical Society on Thursday evening, December 4, to enjoy the “Ringing of the Bells.” Refreshments will be served. by Stephanie A.
