Mary D. Prestley

May 27, 1925 - October 21, 2008

MARY D. PRESTLEY, 83, of 506 N. 4th Street, Fulton, IL, died Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at her home.

Mary was born May 27, 1925, in Hammond, IN, to Carl W. and Bertha E. (Weber) Jacobsen. She was educated in the Fulton schools and graduated from Fulton High School. Mary was a self employed beautician. Later she worked for the United States Bureau of reclamation and National Park Service, for 22 1/2 years. She was a member of bowling leagues in Fulton, IL and Boulder City, NV.

Survivors include her son, Jim (Donette) Bouvia of Long Beach, CA; two grandchildren, Roberta Bouvia and Jamie (Justin) Holder; two great grandchildren, Christopher and Brian Holder.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Jo Prestley and one sister, Betty Cole.

Funeral Information

VISITATION: There will be no visitation

FUNERAL SERVICE: There will be no services

Cremation rites have been accorded

INURNMENT: Will be private - at Fulton Twp. Cemetery in Fulton, IL

Donations Information

A memorial to St. Jude Children's Hospital has been established.
