Midwest Community Bank Welcomes Angie VanderVinne

Midwest Community Bank is pleased to welcome Angie VanderVinne to our staff as a Mortgage loan officer. Angie holds an MBA from the University of Iowa and brings 15 years of mortgage and marketing experience to the bank. Angie’s focus will be on the western Illinois market as she continues to expand her customer base and strengthen her commitment to the community.

Angie’s skill set, supported by today’s technology, will allow her to effectively operate out of her home office while enabling the Bank to expand into new markets. Angie has always held a deep felt commitment to her community. This commitment recently compelled Angie to establish Finding Faith Ministries: Back to Basics, allowing her to further assist the community. Through the Ministry, Angie provides financial coaching to families as they struggle in today’s economic environment. Please join us in welcoming Angie to Midwest Community Bank; she will be a great addition to an already outstanding staff. Todd Wright, President and Eric Norman, Sr. VP Residential Lending

What is Midwest Community Bank and where is it located?
Midwest Bank is a family-owned bank chartered in 1965. Third generation owners, Mark and Todd Wright, co-manage the bank today. Our bank has grown to include offices in Freeport, Rockford, and Chicago, Illinois. Even with the bank’s growth over the years, our focus always remains on serving our customers. We provide personalized service through a dedicated and empowered staff to offer you the best possible banking experience in financial services. Local decision-making and responsiveness are the hallmark of our organization. See Midwest Community Bank

What prompted Midwest Community Bank to offer mortgage loans in Morrison?
After recently talking at a 20-year class reunion, Todd and Eric contacted Angie about her interest in working as a residential lender for Midwest Community Bank while continuing her money coaching business (as a separate entity). Todd and Eric believe that having a “residential lending tool” in her toolbox is a good fit for MWB, Angie, and the community.

Do we really need another bank in Morrison?
Morrison may not need another bank “building”, but it deserves a good mortgage lender who has experience in the community and is dedicated to its residents. Competition is a good thing as it encourages banks to be at their best game with rates, closing costs, and service.

Where will I go, if there’s no bank building?
Angie will meet with you at your house, at your work, on the phone, via email, etc. at a time and location that are convenient to you. Angie may be contacted at 815-631-7241 or avandervinne@mwbonline.com
