The church will also offer a homemade Breakfast from 7:00 - 10:00 a.m. and Lunch is being served from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
An annual highlight of the bazaar will be the Home Tour with six lovely homes in the community all decorated for Fall and Christmas. Tickets (with maps) for the Home Tour (9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.) will be available for purchase at the church during the Bazaar.
Catherine & Elmer Temple - 110 West High Street. Since farming has been the biggest part of our lives, our condo reflects this with farm pictures, old and new. In our sun room is a wedding gift tablecloth crocheted by my mother while she was dying of cancer. I have a collection of Precious Moments figurines and dolls and a lithograph of the Precious Moments “Hallelujah Square.” Pictures taken on our trips and, of course, family pictures are scattered throughout our home. Some sewing projects are on display in the basement. You will know Christmas is coming as you see our decorations throughout our home.
Mike & Colleen Buckwalter - 14766 Norrish Road. This home will be decorated for Christmas. This home, built in 1998 has many unique features. The current owners bought the home in 2003. It has approximately 2,800 quare feet of living space with a “bridge” room spanning from the garage to the main living area. Recent additions to the home include a deck which spans the entire west side of the home, redecorated rooms and changes to the fireplace.
Stan & Mary Buckwalter - 15495 Bishop Road.
This home is a three-bedroom, brick ranch home built by the owners in 1975. The home was originally decorated in a Bicentennial theme has been updated throughout. The basement is finished with a “His” and “Hers” side. The home will be decorated for both Fall and Christmas.
Dorothy Rosenow - 520 East Wall Street.
Dorothy lives in a charming bungalow. She has a collection of Teddy Bears that you will find adorable. Throughout her home you will find cross stitched pictures that she has completed. She also has a collection of glassware and crystal that is special to her. She has recently done some redecorating in her home in preparation for being on our home tour.
Sandi Crouse - 1002 Glenwood Drive.
Sandi’s home is whimsical with fairies in the great room and balcony, snowmen in the bedroom, Santas in the bathroom, a gingerbread house and trimmings in the kitchen, and animated items in the basement which can be seen from the main floor. She is planning on giving a door prize to the person who can guess how many fairies are on display in her home!
Arlyn and Johnnie Thomson - 700 Milnes Drive.
This cozy condo is right on the edge of nature and offers a park-like view of Rock Creek to the north and the woods to the east. It is the last condo on the left at Deerview Condominiums. It is simply, but tastefully, decorated for the Christmas season. The many snowmen throughout the home will remind you of what is to come. Among the holiday decorations will be handmade crafts by Alberta Vegter that are marked for sale. Arlyn will be glass crafting on the lower level. The decorations are secondary to the pleasing view of the outdoors that God has provided. Maybe you will be lucky and get to see some deer and/or wild turkeys during your visit.
Hope to see everyone on November 15 at the Morrison United Methodist Church "Home for the Holidays" Bazaar.
