UMC Trivia Night and Boy Scout Chili Supper |
|
The United Methodist Church is hosting a Night of Trivia on Sunday evening, November 2nd, beginning at 6:45 PM-8:00 PM in Heritage Hall. The Boy Scout Chili Supper will precede Trivia Night, with serving beginning at 4:30 until 6:30 PM. Tickets for the dinner are on sale from any Boy Scout, at the church office and at the door on Sunday evening for $5.00 per person. The Chili Supper will benefit the Morrison Scout troupe. The entire community is urged to support the Boy Scout troupe for their dinner and all are welcome to stay and play trivia, although each event can be done without the other. Come and eat or come and play in any order. Trivia Night will begin at 6:45 until 8:00. Want an evening of nail-biting competition, hilarious fun, and creativity all for $1.00? This second night of Trivia will provide all that and more. No one needs to be an Einstein or a whiz kid. This is just plain fun, plus it will serve as a good digestive for the bowl of chili. Participants will be seated at tables of eight with each table representing a team. Twenty questions will be flashed on a screen for the team to discuss and decide on one answer. Answer sheets will be collected after each round with a team winner declared. The evening will consist of five different rounds and the team with the most wins will be named Champion of Trivia Night and the winner of the evening’s prize. Gather friends, family and neighbors for a night of great food, fun and fellowship. Between each round, contestants may purchase pop, popcorn, and nachos. by Editor, theCity1.com |
