December 28, 1950 - September 15, 2008 RANDY L. VAN ZUIDEN, 57, of 132 Riverview Drive, Albany, IL, died Monday, Sept. 15, 2008 at his home in Albany. Randy was born Dec. 28, 1950, in Clinton, IA, to Lewis and Gert (Klooster) Van Zuiden. He attended the Garden Plain (IL) Grade School and graduated from Fulton High School in Fulton, IL. He was a Viet Nam era veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He married Cindy Dornbush on January 10, 1976 in Albany. Randy was employed by 3M in Cordova, IL, for 34 years, retiring in February of 2008. He was a member of the American Legion Hanson/Kennedy Post #1079 in Albany, and a member of the Albany Lions Club. He was a member of the Fulton Country Club, where he served on the board for 2 years. He enjoyed the outdoors and wildlife, was an avid bowler and golfer, and a loyal Greenbay Packers Fan and New York Yankees Fan. Survivors include his wife, Cindy; one daughter, Karla Van Zuiden – at home; one son, Mitch (Nicole) Van Zuiden of Albany; his mother, Gert Van Zuiden of Fulton; one sister, Lori (Mrs. Dave) Handley of Cedar Rapids, IA; two brothers, Arlyn (Jane) Van Zuiden of Morrison, IL and Lauren (Janet) Van Zuiden of Winnetka, IL. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Van Zuiden.
