Introduction to Prairie Pastures Dog Park |
|
Do you have a dog or two but aren’t sure they would enjoy a dog park? Are you not sure about what rules to follow at a dog park? Have you visited other parks that were too crowded - or just boring? Whatever your situation is, let dog park experts help you make the most of your park experience, while introducing you to the spacious, beautiful and exciting, Prairie Pastures Off-Leash Dog Park. Sunday, October 26th, from noon until 4pm, experts will be on hand to guide you thru your visit. They will give you frank feedback regarding your dog’s park potential, and educate you in the correct dog park etiquette. Doggie regulars will be on hand to give your pooch the guided tour and a run for their money. And speaking of money --- fees will be waived during this time, but donations are always appreciated. Prerequisite: Dogs must be fully vaccinated and females cannot be in heat. Then stick around for the Soaring Eagle Nature Center’s Fall Fest at the Nature Barn, starting at 4 pm. There will be pumpkin carving (bring your own pumpkin), a campfire, wiener roast, hayrack rides and other seasonal activities. This event is also free to the public. Dogs are welcome, but must be on leash at all times. Prairie Pastures Dog Park is a branch of the Soaring Eagle Nature Center. Entrance to the park is across from the south playground in Eagle Point Park, in Clinton, Iowa. The Soaring Eagle Nature Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to offering educational, historical, cultural and recreational opportunities to our community. The Nature Center and dog park are supported entirely by dedicated members and loyal sponsors.
