Walgreens Has Great Savings - Angie VanderVinne

by Angie VanderVinne

If you are willing to put a little time and effort into bargain shopping, then explore the coupon opportunities at Walgreens. There are many “coupon queens” working the system (legitimately) and reaping big savings. This week’s article is based on information I received from one of my readers. THANK YOU!

Walgreens offers at least three savings methods: Weekly Ads with coupons, Easy Saver Catalogs, and Register Rewards. The weekly ads with coupons is self explanatory, but it is worth mentioning that manufacturer coupons can be used with the in-store coupon. (Same as most stores)

The Easy Saver catalog can be picked up at the front of the store and includes manufacturer coupons and monthly rebates. Some of the coupons can only be used at Walgreens, and it is likely that if an item is listed in the catalog it will also be on sale at some point that month (MORE SAVINGS). Typically, there are about 30 rebates/month available and about five of those rebates enable you to get the product free after the rebate.

Register rewards are in-store coupon dollars that print out after the sale is rung up. These dollars are like free money to be used on anything in Walgreens (milk, aspirin, etc). The “coupon queens” have purchases rung up separately to get a register reward for every purchase.

While carrying out all the mentioned savings tools at Walgreens may seem extreme, the “coupon queens” are laughing all the way from the store. To learn more about saving at Walgreens, do an internet search for “Walgreens free stuff or coupons”. To communicate more money saving tips, email angiev2@mchsi.com.
