Car Accident

Morrison Police investigated a three-vehicle accident in the 500 block of East Lincolnway on September 20, 2008 at approximately 3:45 p.m.

An eastbound car driven by Betsy J. Carr, 17, Morrison, and an eastbound pick-up driven by David A. Miller, 58, Sterling, were stopped for another vehicle turning left. A car driven by Robert L Paasch, 66, Camanche, Iowa, struck the Miller truck in the rear. The impact of the collision drove the Miller truck into the rear of the car driven by Carr. There were no injuries reported to police as a result of the collision.

Total damages to all vehicles exceeded $500. Paasch was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident Paasch is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
