CCC Best Writing Practices

Clinton Community College will offer Best Writing Practices on Wednesday, October 1 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the CCC Learning Center, 944 Lincoln Blvd., Clinton.

In writing for the non-fiction market, it is essential that we have credibility in our work. We have to get accurate material, get our facts straight, double check the information that people give in interviews. The same thing is true for fiction writing. People want to find the stories to be believable. But gathering information and doing research can take a lot of time. What are some good research tools for writers? What are some excellent research methods? How do we form the questions correctly so that we stay on track in gathering information? When do we need permission to use specific information?

This workshop will give practical tips on accuracy and speed in our research. Cost of the program is $ 35. To register, call 1-888-336-3907 or 563/244-7100 and request class # 54840.
