CARLA JO PRESTLEY, 49, of Boulder City, NV, died August 11, 2008 in Boulder City.

Carla was born March 24, 1959, in Clinton, IA, to Alvin “Red” and Mary (Jacobsen) Prestley. She was educated in the Boulder City grade schools and graduated from Boulder City High. Carla married and divorced at an early age. She worked as a seasonal Park Tech at Boulder Beach in Boulder City, NV, and then worked construction in Long Island, NY. She was also employed at Swiss Colony in Illinois and a variety of other positions. She has been a caretaker for various family members. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Prestley, of Fulton, IL; one brother, Jim (Donette) Bouvia of Long Beach, CA.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin.

CREMATION RITES WERE ACCORDED

INURNMENT: Thursday - September 4, 2008 - Fulton Township Cemetery - Fulton, IL
