Faith, hope, and charity – the greatest of these is charity- is one of the teachings of the Masons. They followed their creed by giving to the youth of Morrison. By recycling aluminum cans from the community, the Dunlap Lodge #321 was able to give thousands of dollars to local youth organizations. Money was given to the Boy’s Scouts, Girl’s Scouts, Morrison Little League – Boys and Girls, Food Pantry, and the Morrison Day Care at Dunlap’s annual Past Masters’ Dinner. A $1000 scholarship from the Lodge was also given out to Betty Jo Harridge for college expenses.
At the end of the evening at Northside Country Inn, Worshipful Master John Miller handed 50 year pins to Don “Pood” King and Richard Bogle.
