Failure to Pay or Appear
Whiteside County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Trevin Brearton, 18, Morrison, on August 10, 2008, on a Whiteside County Warrant for Failure to Pay or Appear on a Traffic Charge Citation. Brearton was transported to the Whiteside County Law Center in Morrison, where he posted $100 cash bond and was released pending a later court date.
Violation of Probation
Whiteside County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Adrianna I. Herrera, 18, Sterling, on August 13, 2008, on a Whiteside Count Warrant for Violation of Probation. Herrera was transported to the Whiteside County Law Enforcement Center in Morrison, where she is currently being held on a $1,000 bond.
Deputies Assist Walnut Police
Whiteside County Deputies were contacted on August 22, 2008 at approximately 9 a.m. by the Walnut Police Department and asked to assist in locating a maroon in color Ford that belonged to Shaun F. Dickerson that was wanted for Theft of Service in the Village of Walnut. Whiteside County Deputies observed the maroon Ford traveling northbound on Highway 40, south of Rock Falls.
When deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, it sped off at a high rate of speed, leading Deputies and Rock Falls Officers on a quick chase that ended at the south end of Cannal Street, located in the City of Rock Falls.
The driver, Spencer C. Drulen, 17, Sterling and passenger Shaun F. Dickerson, 18, Rock Falls fled the vehicle on foot. Deputies and Rock Falls Police later apprehended the two. Also in pursuit was the airplane from Illinois State Police. Both Drulen and Dickerson were arrested and transported to the Whiteside County Jail and held for prosecution.
Drulen was charged with Aggravated Fleeing to Elude. Dickerson was charged with Obstructing Justice. Both are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
