PATRICIA A. EMMERT, 69, of 702 Sunset Drive, Morrison, IL, died Friday, August 8, 2008 at her home.

Pat was born April 20, 1939 in Dixon, IL to Reon L. and Hazel J. (Brechon) Glessner. She was educated in St. Mary’s Catholic Grade & Jr. High School and graduated from Dixon High School in Dixon, IL. She married Robert L. Emmert on January 6, 1963 in Sterling. He died September 11, 1996. Pat was employed by General Electric in Morrison for 35 years. Along with her late husband, Bob, Pat owned and operated Pat’s Tap in Morrison from 1985 to 1991. She attended Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls, IL, was a member of General Electric GEM Club and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include three sons, Robert (Mercedes) Glessner of Mt. Morris, IL; Steven (Julie) Emmert and Stanley (Sandra) Emmert both of Morrison, IL; seven grandchildren, Antonio (Allison) Glessner and Angela Glessner; Jacob and Ashley Penaflor; Brandon Emmert; Candace and Brooke Emmert; five great grandchildren, Bennett and Lauren Glessner; Isaac Masini, Devon and Isabel Penaflor; two sisters, Joan (Don) Moore of Dixon, IL and Jean (Jerry) Simon of Park Ridge, IL; and one brother, Howard (Jean) Glessner of Dixon, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob; one daughter, Donna; two brothers, John and Richard Glessner.

OFFICIATING: Pastor Dalmus Meeks - Harvest Time Bible Church

VISITATION: 4:00 - 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

INTERMENT: Grove Hill Cemetery - Morrison, IL
