October 15, 1944 - July 22, 2008 ELIZABETH A. BETH COUNTRYMAN, 63, of 302 N. 12th Street, Fulton, IL died Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at her home. Beth was born on October 15, 1944 in Prophetstown, IL to Stanley E. and Elizabeth A. (Gurel) Robinson. She was educated in the Prophetstown Grade School and was a 1962 graduate of Propehtstown High School. She went on to attend Northern University and later graduated from the Copley School of Nursing. She married Dennis Countryman on July 24, 1971 in Prophetstown, IL. Beth was employed as a Registered Nurse by the former Jane Lamb Hospital in Clinton, IA. She later worked at the Bluff Medical Center in Clinton, IA and Medical Associates in both Clinton, IA and Morrison, IL before retiring in 2005. She was a member and director of the Fulton Presbyterian Church Choir and also served as a Sunday School teacher. Beth also served as a Cub Scout leader and a T-ball coach. She enjoyed family, friends, traveling, playing cards, hiking, snow shoeing and fishing. Survivors include her husband, Dennis; one daughter, Jennifer (Steven) Trujillo of Denver, CO; and one son, Michael (Tracy) Countryman of Arvada, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Catherine Brigl; three brothers, Neil, Thomas and David Robinson.
